2020 - THE OUTBREAK THAT CHANGED THE WORLD!

Everything is weird! Have we switched dimension? Perhaps CERN should stop smashing atoms. The energy is dense. People are depressed. Fear is on the rise. The world has gone mad. We are living in strange times. This year is shit! A few of the opinions I have heard from people I have spoken to since the beginning of this outbreak.

Many have lost their jobs, numerous companies have closed down, heaps of people are in financial trouble, our social lifestyle and daily routines disturbed, our desire to travel overseas restricted, our need for closeness suppressed. Our right to breathe freely outlawed and our every move scrutinised through our phones. Fear has contaminated millions of minds. But should we quit? No way! We are HUMANITY and just like the saying goes: “They tried to bury us, but they didn't know we were seeds”!

LIFE, THE UNIVERSE, GOD, NATURE, whatever you want to call it has tossed a stick in the ants’ nest. But instead of standing together, we’re being divided. Social distancing is one thing, but what is it doing to our lives and our trust in each other? Most governments are failing to handle the current crisis with efficiency and love. The measures put in place to save the elderly and people at risk are medieval and ineffective. Trying to catch the invisible man is not all fun and games but is fear and limitation necessary -- is chaos really the answer?

“Turning on each other is not a game we want to play!”

This virus is real and you might, or might not, catch it. However, this is not the first time humanity has experienced such a thing and it won’t be the last. In 1918 we had Spanish flu, in 1997 bird flu, in 2003 SARS, in 2009 swine flu, and in 2012 MERS -- all causing many deaths. But, the 14th century faced way worst with the black death which caused a death toll of over 75 million or half the population of Europe. Did we stop living then? No. COVID deaths are approximately one ten thousandth of one percent (0.00001%) of the global population! More people have died of flu and pneumonia than of COVID this summer!

The only way to face this outbreak is together and united! Life must be revived, love and hope must be bigger than our fears. This virus is challenging us to be in better shape, better health, have better minds, live better lives. So get in shape now, not tomorrow – do it now! Don’t wait for the new year to make a new resolution. Add supplements to your diet, refrain from eating junk, work out, spend more time outdoors, dose up on fun, so your mind and body become a shield of health. You need to laugh and love more, as they’re the best medicine to heal any infection you might face. The stronger you are, the higher your chances of facing this virus head-on with no problems.

We need trustworthy people, from scientists to politicians, to take a stand and tip the balance back towards freedom. Locking people in their homes is not the answer. A home should not be a prison or a grave! More humane methods exist to protect us all and maintain our freewill to live life fully.

Humans are designed for motion. We must engage in a huge number of physical activities throughout the day as this is tremendously important to the survival of our species. We must keep on living life but keep caution in mind. Perhaps this crisis is a good reminder for basic hygiene, to wash our hands frequently, and sneeze in a tissue or in our sleeves. We should always respect other people’s space. However, we shouldn’t live in a disinfected bubble 24/7, as we need bacteria to build up our immune systems. Research says that the immune systems of our ancestors were strengthened by a multitude of microbial interactions. Now, there aren’t enough, the immune system will start to age making it more likely that we’ll have a huge response to a simple allergen, let alone a virus.

“Sterilising your home like a hospital could lead children to have a severely hyper sensitised immune system leaving them open to allergies and asthma. Many think that all germs are bad, this is not true. Most will stimulate your immune system and make you actually stronger”.
Prof Gilbert says.

The last 6 months have been tough on so many people and far too many have lost hope. The fear of what tomorrow might bring is on many peoples lips, and our governments are changing the rules far too often depriving us of stability. It feels like we’re playing Simon says! Enough damage has been done to the world’s economy and people. The astronomical debt that has been created for future generations to pay is unacceptable. This carnage must stop as the consequences are tragic for too many people. Alcohol consumption has increased during lockdown due to stress, and anxiety and depression have spiked, pushing many countries into a mental health crisis. But what did we expect? Taking away people’s freedom is ripping them away from their life’s purpose and destroys their will to go on.

“Drugs, alcohol, or any other form of dependency won’t help you, as you wake up the next day your life’s challenges are still there. The result is continuous damage to your body and mind. The disbelief that you cannot overcome your current situation by yourself is just a story you repeatedly tell yourself, you can choose to change your story.”

We’ve all felt the dense energy all around us. The negative vibrations can be sensed even by less sensitive souls, repressing positivity and hope. For those who are sensitive and feel deeply - it’s unbearable. Nevertheless, we must believe that we have what it takes to help each other towards positivity and brighter days. We must look after ourselves in the best way possible and keep hope on our horizon. Put your oxygen mask on before helping others. You are no good to no one if your heart is broken, or your mind is tuned to pessimism, and you have given up on tomorrow.

Small things can help, wear light perfumes, as scent is processed in the olfactory bulb which has direct connections to the amygdala and hippocampus. These parts of the brain provide emotional reactions and memories. Smile at people who cross your path - facial expressions have an impact on our feelings. Wear clothing or bags with encouraging messages - we’ve all heard of synchronicity. The right person will read it at the perfect time. Your mind is an incredible receiver and will tune into the right vibes if you just decide to open up to the impossible. Speak with people you love as often as possible - keep in touch! Say "I love you" more, we’re so constipated with those words, yet we need to hear them more than ever. Say “I love you” to the people you love every time you see them. Say it and mean it, the words are precious as they magnify the energy of love within. We shouldn’t wait for the first signs of the apocalypse to express our love to our loved ones.

"Time waits for no one."
- Yasutaka Tsutsui -

If you are blessed to have positive people around you, who have faith that this world chaos will pass, cherish them, uplift them, we need more of those souls around us. Pessimism isn’t the way forward, the media are doing a marvellous job with their headlines, feasting on this pandemic like vultures on a carcass, layering fear through speculation. How about focusing on how many have survived? How many caught it but had no symptoms? I guess good news is for Care Bears, it doesn’t fit the harsh and cynical world of grown-ups. ‘News’ is a business, and like most businesses they need to make profit. Stay away from the negative headlines. Instead do some research and make up your own mind, find the middle ground. Think for yourself!

 - THE METAPHYSICAL SIDE OF THIS PANDEMIC AND 2020 -

It is said that our incarnation is no accident. Theoretically, we choose our time in the history of humanity to experience life. Let's face it, this incarnation is quite something. Some of us feel they have a specific purpose. It may sound insane, but it’s a strong feeling for many. This incarnation has a vibration opposite to matter, it affects the planet and the human body. Many souls are feeling drained and unmotivated at the moment. Is the SHUMANN resonance to blame? Possibly as it’s thought that the SHUMANN resonance has an effect on the human bioregulation, and it has increased to 7.83Hz.

Have we really crossed to a new dimension? The spiritual people of our time say we’re moving into a new dimension. A crazy concept to get your head around but our reality is weirder than science fiction! Just listen to quantum physicists or read about the Higgs Boson. You might blast a few neurons! Individuals who are sensitive to the ‘subtle worlds’ are picking up information, feeling very strong emotions, and at times unbearable sensations. Dolores Canon wrote a book called "The 3 Waves of Volunteers and the New Earth" describing what we’re experiencing. We are all harmonising to Earth’s new dimension, the 5th dimension. Are we perhaps coming to the end of a cycle? The end of the material world? The end of capitalism? The transmutation of our governments? I believe so.

The vibes we are currently experiencing are tuned towards forgiveness and compassion. "I don't just think about me", "I move towards love", "I help others". For those who are not aligned with these vibrations yet, the frequency of the heart, they might have a rough time, their body may not take the constant resistance and misalignment. Everyone needs to work on their fears and traumas.

Many feel the opening of their chakras. This can raise some deep emotions to the surface such as being overly critical of self or others, isolation, lacking empathy, demanding of others, feeling abandoned, losing a sense of personal boundaries, and sleep issues. If this sounds like you, try to meditate as often as possible in order to regain calm. And for those who prefer to pray -- pray! A prayer has a very high vibration when done with love, you can pray to whatever you believe in: God, your guides, mother nature, or the universe. The important thing is to act and give yourself strength and faith that you’re going to be fine. You should also talk to someone, someone you love and trust. A badly incarnated body is not at its full power to enjoy life. You may also experience fast changes to your emotions, faster manifestation of your thoughts, the feeling that time goes by so much faster than before, and vivid dreams.

"Everyone on earth is in the process of cleaning up their KARMA, it’s like if we were all washing our dirty laundry at the same time."

Reconnecting with our inner-child will help our body and mind. It will lighten us up and bring us a state of joy. We need to STOP taking everything so seriously. Many are feeling lonely, especially women, you need to keep strong, your unease is due to the purification of the sacred feminine, women have been martyred for far too long, in religion, in education, and in many cultures and countries. The sacred feminine is regaining its power.

Our bodies need to purge in order to reconnect with intuition. To be whole we need both intuition and logic, the feminine and masculine principles. Having structure supports our intuition as it is possible to become delusional. We’ve been cut off from our heart intelligence for too long. All we have currently is this rational, logical, egoic mind which is the path of error, but gratefully we’re slowly returning to that path where people are listening to their inner voice. This process is also affecting men as they too are made of feminine energy.

Today’s children are the key, they know things we have forgotten, they have a lot to teach us, they’re connected to a truth adults no longer perceive. Let them speak, they have messages we need to hear.

BALI - the gratitude island.

This was my second time visiting this stunning island. I call it gratitude island, simply because this is where I truly understood the meaning of gratitude. The genuine smiles from the locals will always stay with me, as they are so rich within. They prioritise the human spirit and its needs, rather than simply material or physical things.

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.”
- Melody Beattie -

It is so inspiring to watch hotels, shops, restaurants and homes present their offerings to the gods, they start each day with a blessing and with gratitude. This alone showed me that we should follow their example, and understand that we must find balance between the physical and nonphysical. Showing gratitude daily as we press on with our modern lives will help our deep emotional and physical imbalance. Too many people in developed countries have been conditioned to focus on problems rather than solving them; they’re drowning in depression and addiction instead of keeping the faith. They also chase money over wellbeing and a balanced life, and sadly, only believe in what they can see instead of believing, in order to create. Thoughts are the beginning of all things in our world.

Bali has so much to offer starting with the goodness of the locals, then all of its wonders: the secret sanctuaries; the peaceful temples, the hidden magical forests, and so much more.

"Exploration is really the essence of the human spirit."  - Frank Borman -

My favourite place is the sacred Monkey Forest, what an experience that was! The monkeys are truly at peace. They’ll chase you around if you have bananas, and believe me, they won’t stop until they have them. These monkeys are such great entertainers. They can play for hours, trying to open your bags, bite your water bottles, and occasionally stealing anything you've left unprotected. They will also jump on you when you least expect it! My advice is to enjoy their presence, but don’t provoke them or try to touch them, they are animals with primitive instincts after all. It’s an amazing experience you will never forget!

The temples across Bali are majestic, they’re all as breath taking as each other, but many tourists miss out on the energy of these stunning temples.  For them its more about selfies than being in the moment and soaking up the vibes of thousands of years of history. You will have to wear a sarong to enter most temples as appropriate clothing is a must. Of all the temples that we visited Tanah Lot was my favorite. You can be blessed at the holy spring, emerging with grains of rice stuck to your forehead, which seem to remain stuck for a really long time.  You can also touch the head of a lucky snake in a cave opposite the holy spring, and both are said to bring peace and goodness into your life. The local guides will often recommend you to watch the sunset from Tanah Lot, and I can promise a spectacular view. If you hang around for a few minutes after sunset, you will also see the thousands of bats flying from their cave to hunt for food, but don't worry they won't come near you. Just imagine thousands of bats filling the sky, something you’ll only see once in a lifetime! Dracula would have been proud!

The beautiful waterfalls are not to be missed. Northern Bali has a stunning hidden heaven off the main tourist trail, with several shining waterfalls all in one spot. When the sun hits at a certain angle, it's like a shower of million diamonds falling from the sky and melting into the water. In the pool at the bottom there was a group of young local boys splashing in the water and enjoying their natural playground. If we could replace all the time that humans spent playing video games, watching TV or transfixed on their phone, by enjoying the wonders of Mother Nature, I believe our lives would be much more relaxed and fulfilled.

“Travel brings power and love back into your life.”
- Jalaluddin Rumi -

Bali doesn't disappoint. It will enrich your soul, remind you of what’s important in life, show you the magnificence of mother nature, share its rich traditions, and feed you with its stunning and exotic fruits. It is simply a wonderful destination.

Travel the world, and bring some of their beautiful traditions and culture home!
We have so much to learn from each other.

THE MOST WONDERFUL MESSAGE TO HUMANITY: 1940 - Charlie Chaplin - The Great Dictator's Speech

I’m sorry, but I don’t want to be an emperor. That’s not my business. I don’t want to rule or conquer anyone. I should like to help everyone - if possible - Jew, Gentile - black man - white. We all want to help one another. Human beings are like that. We want to live by each other’s happiness - not by each other’s misery. We don’t want to hate and despise one another. In this world there is room for everyone. And the good earth is rich and can provide for everyone. The way of life can be free and beautiful, but we have lost the way.

Greed has poisoned men’s souls, has barricaded the world with hate, has goose-stepped us into misery and bloodshed. We have developed speed, but we have shut ourselves in. Machinery that gives abundance has left us in want. Our knowledge has made us cynical. Our cleverness, hard and unkind. We think too much and feel too little. More than machinery we need humanity. More than cleverness we need kindness and gentleness. Without these qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost....

The aeroplane and the radio have brought us closer together. The very nature of these inventions cries out for the goodness in men - cries out for universal brotherhood - for the unity of us all. Even now my voice is reaching millions throughout the world - millions of despairing men, women, and little children - victims of a system that makes men torture and imprison innocent people.

To those who can hear me, I say - do not despair. The misery that is now upon us is but the passing of greed - the bitterness of men who fear the way of human progress. The hate of men will pass, and dictators die, and the power they took from the people will return to the people. And so long as men die, liberty will never perish. .....

Soldiers! don’t give yourselves to brutes - men who despise you - enslave you - who regiment your lives - tell you what to do - what to think and what to feel! Who drill you - diet you - treat you like cattle, use you as cannon fodder. Don’t give yourselves to these unnatural men - machine men with machine minds and machine hearts! You are not machines! You are not cattle! You are men! You have the love of humanity in your hearts! You don’t hate! Only the unloved hate - the unloved and the unnatural! Soldiers! Don’t fight for slavery! Fight for liberty!

In the 17th Chapter of St Luke it is written: “the Kingdom of God is within man” - not one man nor a group of men, but in all men! In you! You, the people have the power - the power to create machines. The power to create happiness! You, the people, have the power to make this life free and beautiful, to make this life a wonderful adventure.

Then - in the name of democracy - let us use that power - let us all unite. Let us fight for a new world - a decent world that will give men a chance to work - that will give youth a future and old age a security. By the promise of these things, brutes have risen to power. But they lie! They do not fulfil that promise. They never will!

Dictators free themselves but they enslave the people! Now let us fight to fulfil that promise! Let us fight to free the world - to do away with national barriers - to do away with greed, with hate and intolerance. Let us fight for a world of reason, a world where science and progress will lead to all men’s happiness. Soldiers! in the name of democracy, let us all unite!

WHAT ON EARTH ARE WE HERE FOR?

The question on everyone’s mind is - where do we come from and why are we here?  We are born and raised by people we relate to as family.  They pass on their knowledge, experience, fears, love, limitations and motivations. We inherit a nationality and we learn a language; we’re indoctrinated with values and beliefs and introduced to traditions. In theory, all of this is supposed to define us, but it’s an identity we’ll eventually question as we make our way through life.

One extraordinary realisation is that we are living on a planet in a small solar system, that is part of a continually expanding universe. The universe is 14 billion years old and is so large that some of the stars in the sky may have died already with their light only just reaching us.  The most distant object we have detected so far is an early galaxy over 13 billion light years away. And, to understand something this large we need to study the quantum-scale building blocks of life that are so very small like photons, electrons and quarks.  It’s astonishing that we live on the only planet we have found that’s created life through a perfect relationship with our most vital star – the sun.

200,000 years of humanity and we still don’t know where we come from or why we’re here.  I believe we are not supposed to know.  We’re told by ancient books and manuscripts about an omniscient, omnipresent force with infinite power that has created us, but there is no proof or even sign of this divine existence.  Perhaps the silence is intentional to give us freewill, the freedom to believe whatever we choose. Out of nothing we have created myriad ways of living and our society has evolved throughout recorded history, from primitive to post-modern in 200,000 years by simply following our instincts, using our intelligence and building on our humanity.  We are currently seven billion strong (excluding our friends from the animal kingdom) and we have done extremely well at exploring the greatest ways to live well; however we still have work to do before we have a world that is truly united.

Still today, we let the colour of our skin, faith, tradition, class, gender, lifestyle choices, physical appearance and nationalities divide us.  Despite our progress and the effort of many good people to bring peace and fairness these inequalities remain.  We need to collectively meditate on the fact that what defines us isn't physical but spiritual -  our inner being.

Our planet holds such diversity and possibility.  We have an infinite wealth of knowledge about our past and present and yet we still repeat the mistakes of history time and time again.  We forget the lessons from our past and eagerly continue the vicious chain of wars, violence and fear, which always leads to limitation and sorrow.

Some governments thirst for power and money, ruled by corruption to sustain wars and conflict to keep the world divided and business profitable.  We disrespect our soil and oceans by using them as dumping grounds for destructive waste, killing wildlife and poisoning the world that sustains us. Our media spreads fear and highlights negativity instead of reminding us about human kindness and the profound beauty of our world.  And, contrary to news reports there is much more love than fear in our world.

To escape from our responsibilities and harsh realities, we have created entertainment. If we’re still struggling to escape from bad decisions, soul searching or depression then alcohol and recreational drugs become our friends to ease the pain and numb our minds of fear.  Work without passion has become the norm in exchange for financial freedom. Materialism and consumerism have become primary, leaving little room for simplicity, love and authenticity.

'We are still quite primitive despite our best efforts to make our lives better.  We’ve focused on improving our physical environment by investing in technology and civic institutions, but all of this is just one part of being human.'

We must now, more than ever focus on developing what’s inside all of us and seek to understand our gifted minds and the message in our hearts to unlock our human potential.  Many people are flourishing and have achieved incredible things in life, so what separate us from these people?  One important thing they appreciate is their internal resources - they understand their own mind and the extent of their abilities. They see every opportunity that life has to offer.  You limit yourself by believing that only a tiny percentage of people are destined to live well.

It is clear that the universe is under no obligation to answer any of our questions about our existence and how to live our lives.  But, since we are here and have free will, why not find a way to live in peace.  Why not accept that we’re all different, that we believe in different things, and that we have different ambitions.  We have written our story for 200 000 years now and we won't stop unless the universe decides to end us like the dinosaurs. Let's learn from the mistakes of our ancestors and create a world where everyone is welcome and loved. Unity should be our ultimate goal!

LIVE IN THE PRESENT MOMENT, WHERE YOU HAVE FULL CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE - THAT’S WHAT I BELIEVE OUR PURPOSE IS.

DEFICIENCY OF LOVE

OUR WORLD SUFFERS FROM A DEFICIENCY OF LOVE that causes so many people to feel misunderstood and disheartened. What is LOVE? It’s an intense feeling of affection that can heal your heart from pain and hate and fills it with joy and happiness. Our heart is the first organ to form during foetal development in the womb and I don’t think this is random but the creation of a person through love which is the essence of life.

Without love our hearts couldn’t function properly, it knows how to love but when broken the pain starts and hate can result. Our earth is in desperate need of compassion and equality; the reason why so many people feel lost and unhappy is partially because they feel misunderstood and unloved. Instead of loving some people prefer conflict and are quick to judge those that are different, sometimes it is easier to be unkind than give a little bit of our own heart. People have forgotten the simple kindness towards one another, the acceptance of our neighbours, and acceptance of people the way they are; instead we seek validation for our choices and criticise anyone who dares to be different.

I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear. - Martin Luther King, Jr. -

We don’t show enough love, or say it enough either. The way we are brought up has a huge impact on who we become later in life. Growing up surrounded by unconditional love and a happy family helps create a balanced mind; but sadly, this isn't given to everyone.

Although, I do believe that anybody can turn their life around and become happy, even if their childhood was dysfunctional. It’s about forgiving the past and letting go of it. And, in some cases letting go of the people that bring drama into your life, no hate is required, silence will speak for itself. Keeping people in your life that make you depressed is like carrying a hedgehog in your pocket so every time you put your hand in, you get hurt.

Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead. - Oscar Wilde -

I have read so much about people’s unhappiness: suffering in silence, heartache, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, negativity, misfits, but all of these feelings come to one thing, the lack of love for yourself and low self-esteem. If there is a lack of love for yourself, there will be pain and sadness. It’s not easy but once you enter the land of pain; make sure you have the intention to come out stronger and self-loving, otherwise a life of sadness will be your fate. Everyone in the world can be happy but it starts by loving who you are and what you are born with. Love all that you are including your gifts, your talents, your body and your mind. You are your own person; you don’t need to be like everyone else to be happy. You don’t need your friends, family or the neighbours to approve of your choices on how you live your life; you only need their love, if it’s unconditional.

By loving who you are and being confident in making choices that please you, you will attract happy people and your energy level will be on a higher frequency. Don’t let the gloominess of life steal your heart. We all have our battles. Don’t let go as the best is yet to come.

Do things you love, with people you love. Become passionate about something so the lack of love is filled. You must decide that happy is the only way to live. Love those who love you and ignore the haters. Your happiness can save the world and bring peace, it is the best thing you can influence someone with, compassion and love, so they in turn can influence someone else. If everyone took charge of their own happiness, and cared for one another, the world would be different. If we started to smile and be kind to each other as often as possible, the misinterpretation of kindness will disappear and become normal. Disregard the people, who won’t embrace it, they cannot love if they don’t feel it. Don’t tell the world; show it with your actions.

SPREAD LOVE AND KINDNESS SO ONE DAY THEY BECOME LIKE BREATHING AIR AND DRINKING WATER.

FRIENDS

FRIENDSHIP is such a beautiful thing especially when two people truly appreciate and respect each other, and when the feeling is mutual. Friends should bring you joy and make you grow, they are a core part of life, having friends that you trust and love is essential to your well being.  I treat mine like I would like to be treated - I love them and wish them happiness.

« Let us be grateful to people who make us happy, they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom ». - Marcel Proust -

I once had a friend that I trusted, but the relationship was unbalanced.  I would make her laugh when she was down; I’d send her gifts and fly to visit her every year.  I was her friend basically; but on many occasions she would say unkind things and I wouldn't say anything back. She didn't make me feel great about myself.

What this taught me is not blame the other person for being unkind or not returning what you have invested in the relationship, but to have self-respect and understand that people, whomever they are, will treat you the way you let them treat you.  Some people are simply unhappy or insecure and can’t return your kindness; and others are a little needy and may overwhelm you with a demanding friendship. If you have doubts about a friend ask yourself these questions:

Does this person make me happy? Can I be myself with this person? Does this person love me? Does this person lift my spirits and believe in my potential? Can I trust this person? When I think of this person, do I smile?

If most answers are 'NO' then protect your happiness and self-esteem, drift away gently without drama, sometimes the best thing to do is to do nothing. Some people only cross your path to teach you something, so learn and move on.

There are different types of friendships and some are hard to identify.  It is essential that you surround yourself with happy and positive people that assume the best in life, even when down moments hit unexpectedly hard. Do your best to be there for the people that are going through a hard time, the genuine friends that just need a little boost from a good person so they can find their smiley face again.

“A friend is someone who gives you total freedom to be yourself.” - Jim Morrison -

I’ve had a variety of friends, from wonderful to toxic, but I’m grateful to all of them because I have learnt so much through these different friendships.  As I understand more about the types of people in the world, I also have a better understanding about who to let in my life and who I should protect myself from.

IT TAKES ALL KINDS TO MAKE THE WORLD GO ROUND.

The Supportive Friend - Always ready to cheer. Everyone should have a cheerful friend that will support you and your dreams. This little gem will love you and be ready to fight your corner. They are true to you, they don’t gossip, they're rarely negative and they remind you what a fantastic person you are. Treat those friends like diamonds, if you lose them they will be difficult to replace!

The Guru - The Guru is someone that gives you hints and clues on what to do when you are lost or not sure about the way forward. This friend always seems to know what to say and when to say it. They are truthful and they’ve experienced life and learnt their lessons. They sometimes go overboard and forget that everyone needs to make their own mistakes in order to learn the lessons. They have your best interests at heart because they love you and don’t want you to suffer.

The Comedian Friend - Nothing is that serious. The Comedian Friend makes you laugh, from your belly. They'll make your day with crazy stories. They have a gift to make people laugh and they’ll always see the positive side of any situation and make it into something funny. After having spent some time with this friend, you should have a smile on your face. Laughter is the best medicine. We all have a different sense of humour and sometime this friend is misunderstood and may offend people by joking about something sensitive.

The Good/ Best Friend - Everyone needs good and trustworthy friends in their life.  This friend sticks by you no matter what, because they love you and understand you like no one else. They would never would speak behind your back and don't judge you. Your best friend is the first person you call when you are down or going through hard times, also the one you call when you've got yourself in the “poo”, because they know that you are there for them, too. The relationship is balanced. They remember your birthday every year and celebrate the special moments. Some of your best experiences in life are with your best friend. I'm lucky to have a few of these gems in my life. I have experienced the craziest and funniest moments with them but also shared my tears and sadness, without these guys my life wouldn’t be what it is, they are my family.

The Toxic Friend - Vampire emotion, they suck the life out of you. The frustrating thing about this friendship is how it creeps up on you unexpectedly. Their negativity is astonishing, nothing is possible, and everything that happens to them is the end of the world. If you are sharing future plans with them, instead of cheering for your success they give you a list of bad things that might happen if you do it. Most conversations are about them and how unlucky they are. Usually these people don’t make you feel good about yourself and may even make you feel guilty to have what you have. They often knock your confidence down by throwing unkind comments your way to make themselves feel better. Knowing the signs of a toxic friend will help you to avoid remaining in such a friendship, or perhaps even developing one in the first place.

The Serial Canceller - You are disposable. This one has issues with time keeping and diary management. They will cancel on you all the time at the last minute. They know their craft and their excuses are original, but the truth is they simply can’t be bothered to meet you. Usually they will go quiet on you when they are busy and won’t have time to meet-up, but when they are bored they will know where to find you. If someone is not willing to make the effort to value your friendship, then move on. To them you are at their disposition and they will take advantage of your kindness.

The Taker Friend - An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of heartache. They will be happy to receive things from you, but you won’t see much from them. They love you when you pay the bills at the restaurants or when you spoil them with gifts on their birthday, but you won’t see a thing from them on your special days. They always borrow without giving back what they owe you and they always call you when they need something, but when you need something back they’re conveniently busy or unavailable. They are so happy to have you as a friend because you are generous. To be friend with a taker will drain you and lower your confidence, as you will be confused as to why you have given so much but received nothing in return. To avoid the heartache which may result from low self-esteem, you must walk away; they don’t deserve your time or your kindness.

Treat and love your friends like diamonds but do yourself a favor, walk away from negativity no matter what.

A few good friends is all you need.

FACE YOUR FEARS

We, humans project our fears onto each other unconsciously, we forget that our destinies are different and we dismiss that our desires and dreams are poles apart. Yet we seek validation for our everyday choices and we need to feel like we belong. Some of us are ready to give up what truly makes us happy so we can be like everyone else.

"Always do what you are afraid to do." - Ralph Waldo Emerson -

Why do we project fear onto each other? I think it is mainly because we are scared of the unknown; we worry about being judged as we might stand out from the crowd. But, the future cannot be predicted, we make our paths as we walk. Not everything is pre-written as we design our future in our present. We have the power as long as we choose what we want.

We will always be judged for something, no matter who we are. We single out people for being different, and that difference could be anything – it’s a human failing. If someone has more than another person it’s almost certainly because they worked harder, believed and never gave up, whereas the other person thought it was impossible.

They are two types of people in the world; the ones who think for themselves and make decisions in order to lead their life in happiness, and the ones who are on the boat of life, not really knowing where they are heading and happy to just go along with whatever comes next. It's a personal choice.

It is important to take a leap of faith and push for change; we often don’t understand why someone would make a decision that seems so crazy, knowing that we would never take that risk.

Like a sudden change of direction, which often means starting from scratch, fighting old habits and the financial struggle for a few years.

We shouldn't project our own fears onto people who are trying to realise their dreams, especially if they know the risks and are willing to take a chance.

"My 'fear' is my substance, and probably the best part of me." - Franz Kaftka -

It’s alright to be your own person and make choices that suit you; it’s your right to choose a life that confirms your aspirations and dreams. You don’t have to be like everyone else, we are all different.

Think of it this way: all the wires in your brain are made of different colors; your colors might be blue and green, so you will need to make different choices in order to find happiness.

It is most likely that your friends and family have different colors in mind, so your choices and aspirations will be different. However it doesn't mean you can’t enjoy each other’s company, you will simply make dissimilar choices.

When you are telling someone about your plans to do something completely out of the ordinary, don’t absorb their discouragement, this is only what they would feel if they were in your shoes, but they are not wired like you.

Understand that some people are not courageous enough to take a leap of faith into the unknown as it is frightening.

"Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. The fearful are caught as often as the bold." - Helen Keller -

Some people think they aren't worthy or might fail, but they could succeed if they believed. This doesn't make them any better or worse than you, they just choose to stay within their comfort zone which is safe and easy, perfectly understandable. However, some of us want more out of life so we walk through doors not certain where they will lead and we are willing to believe in the impossible. It isn't always easy given the lack of support in some cases but never give up, keep walking, alone if must be.

Life created diversity, so let’s recognise it! Let’s set each other free to be whom we want to be. Society doesn’t dictate who we are, we don’t have to fit any mould but our own, and as life goes on, every day is a new chance to be happy. So find your colors and don’t fear to be you.

Fear is the only barrier to success and happiness; you must be willing to face it in order to find what you seek.

LOVE WHO YOU ARE AND BELIEVE YOU CAN.
